Payroll Officer (005603)

Appointment to the role is on a fixed term flexible basis (up to 73.5 hours per fortnight) for 12 months.

We are looking for:

• Knowledge of, and/or experience within a human resources operational environment, with a focus on payroll and employee entitlements together with ability to interpret awards, agreements, policies, procedures and legislation or the ability to quickly acquire.
• Well developed computer skills, including demonstrated ability in the use of word processing, spreadsheet and business information systems including the accurate processing of information.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships and provide advice to a range of stakeholders with a high level client focus.
• Well developed organisational and problem solving skills with the proven ability to set priorities and to work effectively and flexibly as a member of a team in an environment with competing priorities, to ensure deadlines are met whilst maintaining a focus on attention to detail.
• Ability to contribute to the development and review of policies and procedures.
