ABOUT THE POSITION 

This role is new to our business, and we are seeking someone with excellent administration skills and a keen interest in IT to help develop the position within our company. 

The role will be split between the IT Department and the Precision Farming Team, it will be predominantly administrative tasks, with use of multiple computer programs and GPS monitoring, supporting our internal customers with service and solutions including hardware and software calibration, access issues or setting up new accounts. You will be assisting the IT department with operational support and installations, hardware and software management, and day to day technical support to all branches. 

This will be full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm based at our Northam Branch however some travel between other branches may be required (Dowerin, Wongan Hills, Dalwallinu & Brookton) 

Desired Skills: 

• Knowledge of desktop computing hardware, mobility technology (smart phones, tablets)
• Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, common business applications (Office, Adobe, SharePoint) and basic knowledge of Cloud platforms and applications 
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and think analytically.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs.
• A keen interest in the application of emerging technologies to the agricultural industry and a commitment to continuous learning.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate in our specific products and programs. 

Wage will be negotiated with the successful applicant, dependent on experience and qualifications.
