An exciting opportunity exists in the North Queensland Region for a temporary, full-time Senior Project Officer, Student Services to join our regional office team for a period of 6 months, unless otherwise determined.
The role will support existing and emerging systems and projects across the student services and student child and family connect portfolios. Experience in resources management and data analysis is preferred.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with well developed interpersonal and communication skills with a willingness to work across portfolios and with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role
As the Senior Project Officer, you will: - Manage the development, implementation and monitoring of project plans and phases, including the coordination of various activities and resources associated with achieving the project objectives. - Manage liaison, communication and coordination with other teams across the department contributing to the project.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Undertake project planning, analysis, integrate project activities and evaluate the impact of projects and initiatives.
- Develop, implement and monitor project services in consultation with stakeholders to ensure identified needs are met.
- Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of policies, practices and procedures.
- Assist in coordinating, organising and promoting the activities identified within the program.
- Provide project advice, information and status, including preparation of correspondence, policy responses, speeches, articles, media releases and briefings for the Minister, Director-General and members of the Executive Management Board.
