We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced operators for our village operations located throughout remote and regional Western Australia.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Village Manager will have the ability to take ownership of the role, while being able to think outside the square to ensure the smooth operation of the village services as per Northern Rise and site client requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role (fly in / fly out basis).
The point of hire is Perth (WA), working a 14 days on / 7 days off roster.
The successful candidate will:
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism when dealing with village residents, visitors and staff
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, resident, colleagues and visitors
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the site-specific scope of works to ensure that contractual requirements are met with the highest level of quality
- Ensure all licensed areas of the site are compliant with relevant legislation, licensing laws and contractual requirements
- Continually encourage and develop the workforce performance in line with the Northern Rise Village Services long term development, training matrix and mentoring opportunities
- Complete all operational reporting documents in an accurate and timely manner
- Have sound knowledge of OH&S requirements both legislative and site-specific
- Ensure all employees are competently trained in all aspects of their individual positions
Knowledge, skills and experience needed to perform this role:
- At least 2 years (minimum) prior village management experience in a remote environment (essential)
- Very well-developed people management skills
- Safety awareness
- Ability to multi-task and organise an ever changing and diverse workload
- A positive attitude toward providing excellent customer services
- Competent computer skills with the ability to learn new system
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Provide a National Police Clearance less than 6 months old
- Hold an WA Approved Manager's Liquor Licence
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
- Hold a Food Safety for Supervisors Certificate
- Pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
