EOI - Works Officer Asset Maintenance Applications Close: 03/03/2024  11:45 PM Position No: 3453 Division: Maintenance & Operations Location: Northern Suburbs Work Type: Fixed Term - Full Time Expression of Interest is sought to fill the role of Works Officer Asset Maintenance on a higher duties arrangement for a period of 9 weeks (Leave backfill) with the possibility of an extension at the end of 9 weeks. The RoleAn excellent opportunity exists for a highly motivated person to lead the Asset Works Team. You’ll provide high level supervisory support for Council’s Maintenance and Operations team in asset services, while liaising with other Works Officers and the broader Maintenance and Operations team. In addition to the daily supervisory requirements, you’ll be required to action work requests via the Assetic system, monitor workflows, assess OHS risks and manage priority tasks. There will also be a requirement to arrange material orders, review and process invoices and respond to customer requests via email, phone or in person.  You will receive guidance and support from the Unit Manager and Operations team, to achieve these requirements effectively and efficiently.
