The back of House Team are key in creating a memorable experience for guests utilising locally sourced ingredients and combining them with a culinary skill set that allows each guest to create their own experience.We are now looking for Full-time Sous Chef - 6 month fixed term (maternity cover).*potential to extend, depending on opportunities available
As a Sous Chef, you will be integral in bringing to life a multi-cuisine menu in one of Crown Sydney’s flagship venues. Working alongside the Chef de Cuisine, you will be leading a team working across an open kitchen style layout ensuring high quality and presentation standards are met. This is a fast-paced role working in a large venue that welcomes hundreds of guests per day.
Epicurean at Crown Sydney operates from breakfast till late. Some of the skills you will bring:Previous leadership experience within a kitchen environment
Experience within a premium dining environment
Relevant hospitality qualification (Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)Ability to engage a team and bring people on a journey
Exposure to budgetary management and financial control
Knowledge of food safety standards
