With the dynamic and ambitious impacts on Organisations locally and globally, Boards and CEO's are looking to CFOs to realign their Finance strategy with the organisation's new strategic long-term goals and be agile to adapt in the new normal. Our vision is to enable CFO's to transform their Finance function and support them in delivering a reimagined Finance services - from finance strategy, process optimisation, technology enablement, realignment of their financial structure and reskilling the finance team.
Working closely as a trusted advisor to CFOs you will support them in their Finance Transformations. Demonstrating your deep expertise in finance you will help our customer's leadership team identify key business challenges and develop business solutions and change initiatives and pathways to deliver value to the organisation.
About the role
As an integral part of our Consulting team located in Australia, you will lead the delivery of large-scale Finance Transformation projects. As part of this role, you will:
  • Bring strong finance functional knowledge, expertise and proprietary tools to every client situation
  • Lead and develop strategic client relationships while ensuring the highest quality client work
  • Operate as a part of an Oracle Consulting squad to deliver the finance stream of and ERP transformation project with our customers
  • Collaborate in the ongoing creation of transformation IP
  • Share your industry knowledge and transformation experience with the larger OC team
  • Coach and mentor Oracle Consulting team members
  • Thought leadership in Finance Transformation for OC ANZ
  • Ensure adoption and benefit realisation for our customers undertaking the transformation journey
Responsibilities:
Role requirements
  • proven experience (10+ years) in Corporate / Finance roles in the industry and strong finance functional knowledge
  • 5+ years' experience working in professional services or consulting with demonstrated ability to provide advisory/thought leadership and share insights with our customers
  • Experience in leading Finance Transformations across finance function realignment, process optimisation and cloud technology enablement
  • A solid track record of building strong client relationships with large organisations, as well as identifying opportunities to deepen those relationships and grow the business
  • Experience in Enterprise Performance Management - planning, budgeting and forecasting, management information and reporting, profitability and cost management, and performance data and analytics
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual problem solving skills and a high level of comfort with quantitative analysis and managerial accounting
  • Experience in Cloud ERP transformation projects with a focus on finance
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Experience in the use of Design Thinking and Lean Six Sigma methodology, tools and templates is essential
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and ability to work collaboratively
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Financials will be highly beneficial.
