About the OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for an ERP Systems Analyst (Technical) to join our Maritime Australia based at Adelaide with significant flexibility to accommodate other locations across Australia for the right candidate.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and/ or hybrid working.
As the ERP Systems Analyst (Technical), you will be responsible for managing and operating the technical aspects of an application platform that supports the core ERP solution – Aveva ERM and the related interfaces for shipbuilding. You will also be responsible for maintaining supporting systems and platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Administrate and manage the ERP/ERM system and related interfaces
- Identify integration needs and propose solutions that are easily maintainable and transferable
- Create, maintain and manage all supporting documentation and ensure versions are up to date
- Work closely with the IT and business users in an agile delivery model
- Significant technical and functional analyst experience managing and operating ERP or ERM environment and supporting database - Oracle DB
- Experience in Aveva ERM or equivalent ERP systems [Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards or similar applications] across large scale manufacturing or shipbuilding environment
- Experience in product development utilising LUA scrips, (other scripting languages also considered) day to day system management, deployment and managing release cycle is essential
- Strong communication skills coupled with ability to interpret complex technical issues to requirements and feasible solution
