The Role
An outstanding opportunity awaits a talented and passionate sustainability professional to join their world-leading global sustainability team, based in their Brisbane office. This role involves contributing to strategy development, design, verification, and operations for ambitious companies and built environment projects in the Asia Pacific region.
As the Brisbane ESD Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of their team and project delivery. Collaborating with project Directors, you will manage planning, resourcing, financial performance, and training initiatives, while liaising with the broader sustainability team. Your leadership will be crucial in developing the existing team, sharing knowledge, assisting in training, and setting high standards.
In this role, you will lead projects with strong support, contributing to the expansion of their portfolio. As a project manager, you will oversee projects within their Brisbane office and collaborate with their broader sustainability team. Client service excellence is paramount, and you will be instrumental in developing new clients and nurturing existing relationships.
The Skills
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a built environment-related field
Significant experience in sustainability consulting within the built environment sector.
Ability to lead projects and junior staff, positively representing the business
Team leadership skills, managing career development, engagement, and workload.
Project management skills, ensuring delivery, client satisfaction, financial performance, and invoicing.
Business development skills, managing proposals and fostering client relationships.
Experience with certification schemes like Green Star, NABERS, and WELL Building Standard.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, effectively meeting client deadlines.
Preferable, but not essential

• WELL AP certification
• ESG experience
• Building physics modelling expertise (Energy, Daylight, Comfort, Parametrics).
• Experience in Climate Active & Carbon Neutral initiatives
• Familiarity with Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)
