About the role 

As a Client Director you are responsible for having a deep understanding of your clients’ business and their challenges. You will be part of a dynamic high performing team, working across some global leading FMCG brands. 

You will work with the entire team to unearth & develop business challenges into solutions that will drive your clients’ business. You will be curious, passionate, enthusiastic and ultimately indispensable to the client. You will have a love of marketing and media and understand its role in driving brand growth. 

What will make you stand out 

· Building strong relationships with clients, representing the EssenceMediacom team and ensuring all brand work is delivered to the highest quality 

· Be a business orientated marketing and media person with a passion for building brand growth through media 

· Understand the importance of media and creative working together and be a champion of the agency village construct to work alongside all partners 

· Be passionable about the media market, be at the forefront of all change in the industry and have a view on how that can propel clients business forward 

· Have a interest in marketing science and principles 

· Drive the team culture through development of team engagement plan 

· Oversee and drive the complete end to end connections planning process ensuring that it is implemented across all client work 

· Work with the Client Partner on developing action plans that continually improve performance evaluation scores 

· Go above and beyond to understand your clients' brand/products, enbedd at their offices, immerse yourself in their brands 

· Assist the Client Partner to accurately forecast revenue and billings

· Curious about the client’s business - ask questions and request access to all business-related information. 

· Puts the client interests first, focusing on their business outcomes linked to KPIs rather than media opportunities 

· Is always proactive, providing ideas without being asked 

· Has a point of view and not afraid to challenge clients/internal team to achieve a better outcome 

· Is skilled at developing long term meaningful relationships rather than transactional ones 

· Understands clients as people/humans
