The role

• Estimating and tendering projects to $10M.
• Coordinate estimate preparation, calculate/prepare quantities and compile proposals.
• Establish and maintain business development.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Review tender documents assessing the scope, risks and tender complexity.
• Conduct site inspections for understanding, analysis of conditions and assessment of risk if necessary.
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients and subcontractors.

About you

• 3-5 years of experience in the Structural Steel industry.
• The ability to produce Building Cost Estimates/Tender submissions with a high degree of accuracy and success.
• Results-orientated and able to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and Estimating Software (e.g. Strumis).
• Ability to estimate from first principles.
