About the Role
- Provide high level administrative and executive support to stakeholders (internal and external) including researchers, clinicians, sponsors and others on relevant ethical regulatory requirements and standards.
- Maintain and demonstrate ability to apply up-to-date knowledge in the area including new developments, legislation and industry standards such as Therapeutic Goods Agency (TGA), Good Clinical Practices Guidelines, the NHMRC Harmonisation of Multi-Centre Ethical Review Initiative, NHMRC National Standards and the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.
- Assist the Ethics & Governance Co-ordinator as required for the co-ordination of the Ethics and research governance related duties within the Cancer Trials Unit.
- Have the ability to provide autonomous decision making, analyse issues, establish a course of action and adopt a pro-active attitude with minimal direction.
