An exciting opportunity has been made available for an APS4 Project Officer to join their team on a full-time basis for 12 months. Your new role
As the APS4 you will be required to apply well-established policy, principles, practices and procedures to achieve outcomes that support and contribute to the organisation's objectives. The APS4 Project Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries. You will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge and may undertake some research and analysis activities. You will also be responsible for:
Supporting the development and management of project plans and schedules in accordance with the Agency's project management framework.
Providing advice, procedural guidance and administrative support to staff and stakeholders.
Assisting with research and analysis on relevant project activities.
Assisting and supporting regular project reporting, including status updates and exception reports.
Assisting in drafting project documentation for review by senior staff.
Assisting with monitoring project budgets, reporting on expenditure and reconciling payments.
Building rapport and maintaining stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of projects.
What you'll need to succeed
Good understanding and experience using a variety of systems/ digital platforms.
Have the ability to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, engage and collaborate to achieve outcomes and facilitate cooperation.
The ability to work independently and in a virtual team environment.
Ability to problem-solve complex system issues.
Be willing to pass a National Police Check.
Salesforce platform experience would also be desirable.
Be an Australian Citizen.
