About the role
The EUC Systems Engineer manages and maintains the operations and service levels of the End User Computing infrastructure to optimise availability and reliability. It includes participation in, and oversight of the daily up-keep and administration of the organisations end user compute infrastructure and computer systems. In this role you will contribute to the design, planning, implementation and maintenance of infrastructure and architecture including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), group policy, application deployment, operating system deployment and endpoint security.
Requirements for the role
Essential
•Experience supporting large complex Microsoft network environments.
•Experience deploying and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
•Experience managing a MECM environment.
•Working experience with current Microsoft technologies (server, desktop and applications).
•PC hardware and peripherals knowledge and skills.
•Working experience in application packaging and deployment.
•Experience within ITIL Service Desk environment.
•Experience in the usage of systems configuration and change management processes and documentation.
Desirable
•Understanding of Microsoft 365 products and services.
•Demonstrated experience with antivirus and security patching technologies.
• Knowledge of ITIL standards.
•Previous customer service experience.
