AddressThe purpose of the EV Program Manager - Power role is to support all aspects of power applications and grid connections for EV charging business The role is responsible for the end-to-end process of DNSP (Distribution Network Service Providers) applications, approvals and grid connections for the sole purpose of EV charging.
The EV Program Manager - Power seeks to streamline and improve the feasibility, request, design, and energisation process and realise timeline optimisations which enable the team to deploy EV chargers more quickly and efficiently. They will provide the following:
- Develop and maintain program procedures to support and streamline power feasibility, DNSP applications and grid connections.
- Rigorously manage the DSNP application process for new connections and upgrades to align with Company's strategy.
- Continuously improve DNSP application and grid connections process for EV charging from feasibility to energisation.
- Familiarization with DNSP standards and processes providing the project team technical assistance throughout the life of the project.
- Build effective relationships with DNSP's, consultants and governmental agencies.
- Commercial knowledge of DNSP offers and technical solutions to determine best power strategy and cost-effective solutions.
- Cross functional communication and stakeholder managemen
- Lead front end engineering evaluations for projects
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10+ years relevant experience in a similar role and/or related electrical/power distribution environment (Engineering Design, Consulting, Project Management)
- Proven experience with Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSP) is required.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of DNSP Power Application and Connection processes (100kVA to 2MVA)
- Superb organizational skills to work with multiple DNSP's and Design Consultants across ANZ simultaneously
- Highly energetic personality with an ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Impeccable communication skills, both writing and speaking - ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of individuals
- Good understanding in project feasibility stages
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
