- Our main services are party boat hire, venue hire and entertainment bookings.
- We are welcoming applications for an Event Bookings co-ordinator to join us in our comfy office in Potts Point, Sydney.
The role
- This a casual role working 4-5 days / 20-25 hours per week, with the opportunity for more hours in the future.
- It is suited to someone that is interested in a long-term role with the hours described and that lives close to the office.
- You will be working directly with the business owner in a relaxed environment.
Qualifications & experience
- The role is suited to a helpful personality, with an eye for detail, a great phone manner, the ability to work under pressure and to multi-task.
- Must be confident and comfortable talking to a wide range of clients with budgets big and small.
- Must be PC savvy and well-versed with Microsoft Office.
- We are seeking an organised person, ideally experienced in an administration and customer service role, and comfortable dealing with people of all ages looking for help planning their parties (birthdays, hens parties, bucks parties and corporate parties).
Tasks & responsibilities
- This is an office role for an events management company, with a focus on customer service, sales and administration.
- The role involves communicating with clients from their initial event enquiry through to the execution of their events, managing a high volume of enquiries via email and phone, liaising with suppliers, preparing booking forms and event itineraries.
- There is also an element of content creation for our websites which requires basic creative writing skills.
