Dedes Waterfront Group is the culmination of 35 years in hospitality as a family run business.

This is a full time role siutable for a candidate with a passion for events and hospitality.
The role will involve, but not limited to:
- Work directly with our event clients to plan and co-ordinate all parts of their special day with us.
- Be the direct contact for all incoming third party vendors supplying services to our events.
- Create run sheets, floor plans and style guides.
- Be up to date with industry trends and event marketing platforms
- Provide administrative support to both front of house and back of house management teams and head office
The successful applicant must have:
- Diploma Level qualification or higher and 2 years of full-time work experience in a similar role; or at least 3 years of work experience in a similar role
- Be available to work weekends during the daytime
- Hospitality experience and knowledge
- A strong interest in events, and wanting to progress in this area
- Reservations experience with Now Book it and Triple seat preferred
- A mature, reliable and authentic personality
- Ability to work autonomously and follow work streams and procedures
- A willingness to be learn all aspects of the Dedes Waterfront Group venues and their offerings
- An ability to provide efficient and professional service to all guests and team members
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
