Mi Scusi is looking for an Event Coordinator to join our growing team!
This position will report to the Directors and is responsible for providing event planning, logistics coordination and administrative support to the Mi Scusi Food and Beverage team. This detail-orientated role is critical to the successful delivery of Mi Scusi’s catering services to their clients.

At Mi Scusi, no two days and no two events are the same, but you can expect key duties to include:
- Arranging and coordinating event services for a variety of events and functions.
- Responding to new event enquiries promptly, providing tailored proposals and quotations within client budgets.
- Meeting with clients to discuss their needs and outline package options to meet these needs.
- Attending functions alongside Mi Scusi staff to enable the smooth execution of functions. This includes overseeing work conducted by staff and reporting on variations to work orders.
- Maintaining a high level of thorough and consistent client liaison, following up new and pending work enquiries.
- Assisting with general administration tasks such as invoice/expenses data entry and client payment reconciliations.
- Assisting Director with rostering staff for jobs using ‘Deputy’ or another third-party rostering system (if applicable).
About You
You would be perfect for the role if you are passionate about executing and creating bespoke event experiences.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- 3+ years’ experience in event coordination
- Relevant event management qualification: Australian Diploma of Event Management or Overseas’ equivalent
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Previous experience in high end food and beverage service
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite of programs
