We are seeking an experienced and professional Event Manager with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to think outside the box to join our expanding team in the Martin Place Sydney headquarters.
The successful candidate must have at least three years' experience managing corporate events, a proven track record in project planning, budget management and the ability to work across a diverse portfolio of events.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Holistic management of key corporate events, end-to-end;
- Management of event production, deadlines and budgets;
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and suppliers;
- Negotiating supplier contracts and ensuring fulfilment;
- Liaising with external partners and businesses, including accommodation and transport;
- Managing registration using Events Air;
- Upholding the Lateral standards in every event delivered.
To be successful you must have:
- A minimum of three years previous Event Management experience;
- A good understanding and extensive experience using Events Air;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- A passion for organising events and flexibility to run on tight deadlines;
- Positive "can do" attitude and able to work closely with different teams;
- Be able to work autonomously when required;
- Excellent written, communication and time management skills.
The successful candidate will work across a divorce portfolio of events and events. Experience in premium and/or theatre & arena events would also be highly regarded.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Travel will be required as well as the ability and willingness to work out-of-standard hours from time to time.
