To make the magic happen, we are seeking an experienced ‘Event Operations Manager’ to serve as the guest point of contact and team leader during event days.
Given the waterside location, wedding receptions will be the focus of our clientele, with corporate functions and private parties to drive weekday trade.
Key Responsibilities
- Weekly briefings with F&E manager on upcoming events.
- Liaise with BOH and FOH teams to ensure successful preparation.
- Meet & greet with event hosts and act as main point of contact throughout.
- Guide the FOH team in Event Operations, including running times, F&B delivery, guest happiness, and recovery.
- Adhere to venue and precinct rules and legislation.
- Accurate data entry and post-event reporting.
Qualifications & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with a high-volume venue.
- Experience with weddings and corporate events.
- Excellent levels of customer service.
- Ability to lead by example.
- Keen to work at a multicultural workplace.
