About the role

This role will suit a highly skilled and organised Event Manager or Event Producer, who will project manage the execution of client’s events within CMS processes and procedures. 

You must be someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced setting and have the ability to be the conduit between the client and the CMS wider team to ensure all deliverables are executed within the client’s brief. 

You will work with some of Australia’s largest companies on a variety of projects, across both live, virtual and hybrid event models. 

This role will transform depending on the project and/or client, and the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality is a must to be successful in this role.

What the role looks like:

• Develop comprehensive plans to support the event execution including; project management, creative direction, briefing documents, resource allocation, timelines and budget management
• Understand the clients brief and their objectives and develop solutions to achieve their desired outcomes
• Engage all relevant areas of the business to effectively collaborate, plan and deliver solutions to meet the client’s needs
• Deliver events within CMS processes & procedures and continually strive to streamline and improve event efficiencies
• Become the key client contact for events that you have been allocated and lead their event delivery by guiding them through their events lifecycle with clear communications
• Onsite assume the role of Producer and Show Caller for events as required
• Willingness to work outside of the Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and travel interstate to deliver events as required

What we are looking for: 

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an equivalent role
• Previous experience delivering a variety event types from live, virtual and hybrid is desirable
• Agency event experience is desirable
• High standard of administration and organisational skills in project management role
• Outstanding communication style, both verbal and written with the ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders
• Have an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude and don’t mind a challenge
• Be level-headed and calm in high pressure situations
• Tertiary qualification in Events Management, Business, Marketing or a related discipline is desirable.
