Morphettville is a unique and vibrant entertainment destination, the home of the South Australian Jockey Club (SAJC) and thoroughbred racing; and an exciting entertainment destination in metropolitan Adelaide.
In addition to racing on a weekly basis, Morphettville is a diverse multipurpose entertainment venue able to host a wide array of events including weddings, conferences, expos, markets and birthdays. Morphettville features a variety of function rooms and events space and is able to host events seven days a week for small to large groups, including the brand new and recently opened Wolf Blass Event Centre, with over 1000 seats of capacity across two levels, overlooking the racecourse and Adelaide Hills.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Event Sales Coordinator to join our dynamic team and be part of creating unforgettable experiences at Morphettville.
About the Role
As our Event Sales Coordinator, you'll play a central role in crafting seamless events, conferences, and race days at Morphettville. Be the catalyst for building lasting relationships with clients, stakeholders, and operational teams, ensuring every occasion is a success.

Key Responsibilities
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure prompt response to inquiries and concerns, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Proactively engage existing clientele to identify sales opportunities.
• Conduct site visits and client meetings, presenting tailored entertainment options.
• Facilitate seamless communication among stakeholders throughout event lifecycles.
• Develop comprehensive event proposals and booking agreements aligned with client needs.
• Coordinate event logistics to ensure flawless execution, adhering to SAJC policies and procedures.
• Manage invoicing and payment processes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Identify upselling opportunities to maximize revenue and enhance client satisfaction.
• Represent Morphettville at industry events and trade shows to promote the venue's appeal.
To be successful in this role you will need to have
• Previous experience in sales and event coordination within the Hospitality & Events industry.
• Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
• Exposure to food and beverage operations is advantageous.
• Impeccable personal presentation and adherence to corporate attire standards.
