Events Administrator - 4-6 Weeks Contract for an Association based in Melbourne on $30-$35 an hour plus super
The Company:A medical Association based in Melbourne are looking for an Events Administrator to join their team on a short term contract. The Association is one of the largest medical organisations and supports their field through setting standards for the industry, lobbying government when required, training and supporting their membership base.
The Role:
The Events Administrator will report to the Senior Event Manager. This role will be responsible for working within a team that develops and delivers continuing education programs and events for the membership base. The Events Administrator will manage the registrations for each event as well as assist the more senior team members with other coordination and admin tasks.
Key Responsibilities include;
- Prepare and send formal presenter invitations
- Prepare evaluation surveys and correlate results
- Assist with the design of meeting materials including meeting handbook, website, chair notes, slides, speaker gifts, certificates, and meeting packs.
- Assist with speaker management
- Assist with venue sourcing and AV suppliers
- Answer phone and email delegate queries
- Process manual registration form for events
- Liaise with the finance team for delegate refunds
- Setting delegate profiles in EventsAIR and manage all tasks on the software
- Maintain the website with accurate, up-to-date information
- General data entry and administration
The ideal candidate will have experience working as an as an Event Coordinator or Events Assistant within an Association, NFP or Agency space. Experience with EventsAIR registration software is highly desirable.
- Conference and registration experience is preferred for this role, preferably EventsAIR experience, but any software registration experience will be considered
- Experience handling travel requirements, organising meetings and handling requirements for senior leadership teams like travel bookings and itineraries preferred
