Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Coordinator to join their vibrant team in Melbourne CBD. This role is pivotal within the Front of House team, ensuring that daily procedures are executed to a high standard. The successful candidate will play a key part in planning and executing large internal and client events, always ensuring smooth operations. This includes maximising the utilisation of office spaces and curating engaging activities to foster a vibrant community atmosphere.

What you'll do:
As a Front of House Coordinator, you will be an integral part of our client's team. Your primary focus will be on coordinating daily procedures such as catering orders, room setups, and pack downs to ensure they are executed to a high standard. You will also play a key role in planning and executing large internal and client events for the Melbourne office. This includes collaborating closely with various teams to develop strategies aimed at creating meaningful experiences for employees. Additionally, you will oversee the organisation of events from start to finish, liaising with various teams, caterers, vendors and other groups. Your responsibilities will also include maintaining all Front of House spaces, including storage areas.
- Coordinate daily procedures such as catering orders, room setups, and pack downs
- Plan and execute large internal and client events for the Melbourne office
- Collaborate closely with various teams to develop strategies aimed at creating meaningful experiences for employees
- Oversee organisation of events end-to-end, liaising with various teams, caterers, vendors and other groups
- Maintain and improve the spaces within the office for high-quality experiences for both staff and clients
- Responsible for organising catering, room setups and pack down, and planning internal events for the Melbourne office
- This role includes all host responsibilities by either opening or closing the concierge desk and lunch cover daily
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Front of House Coordinator role brings a wealth of experience in administrative roles. With at least two years' experience under your belt, you have honed your skills in reception and events or hospitality. You have a proven working knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines. Your ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments sets you apart. You have effective written communication and writing skills, and the ability to maintain personal effectiveness particularly during periods of higher-than-normal workload.
- 2+ years' experience in an administrative role or events
- Previous reception and events or hospitality experience preferred
