The Front of House & Events Coordinator role is pivotal within the Front of House (FoH) team, ensuring that daily procedures, such as catering orders, room setups, and pack downs, are executed to a high standard. Additionally, this role plays a key part in planning and executing large internal and client events for the Melbourne office, always ensuring smooth operations.

The Opportunity

·       Work with team members to plan and execute internal and client events, ensuring seamless operations.

·       Handle bookings for large spaces and communicate with relevant teams to ensure smooth execution.

·       Assist in sourcing and managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, and venues for events.

·       Oversee the upkeep and enhancement of FoH spaces, maintaining a welcoming environment.

·       Develop and disseminate communications through appspace and newsroom, adhering to brand standards.

Is the role right for you?

·       Minimum 2 years in an administrative role, preferably with reception and events or hospitality experience.

·       Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, codes of practice, and guidelines, including Arup’s HSE procedures.

·       Strong ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments.

·       Proven ability to produce clear and effective written communications.

·       Maintain personal effectiveness and foster team motivation during high-pressure periods, assisting others in meeting deadlines.
