AddressThe renowned Beaumonde Catering Centre is located on the picturesque Swan River in Perth and is synonymous with fabulous food and service that has hosted some of Perth’s biggest international, local conferences, Gala Balls and glamorous weddings. With multiple food and beverage outlets within the one venue Beaumonde can cater for a wide variety of event styles with guest numbers up to 400 at any one time.
We are currently seeking Motivated Events & Wedding Co-Ordinator with a hands-on approach to join our professional and friendly events team. This is a long-term secure position.
Attractive salary $80,000 to $90,000 + for the right candidate plus attractive sales incentives after a qualifying period.
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to successfully promote and sell our event spaces for conferences, weddings and social events.
- Have a sound understanding of Food and beverage service.
- The ability to liaise with external event providers, locally and internationally.
- Time management skills to monitor and manage events and wedding set ups.
- The ability to problem solve and be resourceful.
- To be onsite for wedding set up and function coordination.
- The ability to invoice and reconcile event accounts, process deposits and payments.
- Attention to detail and an attitude of excellence for our clients.
- Be able to work autonomously and be proactive in your role and meeting deadlines.
- Maintain exceptional personal presentation and a warm, personable yet professional disposition.
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications, POS and a high level of computer and keyboard skills.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with audio visual knowledge advantageous.
- Having an RSA and managers card is a must.
- Hours will be full time, with set days off.
