Responsibilities:
- Prepare graduation Academic Dress according to the specifications of various universities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
- Oversee the logistics of setting up events, ensuring smooth operations as students move through individual stations to collect their Academic Dress.
- Ability to liaise with university stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage a team of casual staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of regalia preparation and event execution.
- Utilise computer skills to maintain records, track inventory, and communicate with team members and clients.
- Maintaining a super organised and clean warehouse full of academic gowns.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a team, preferably in an event or customer service-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in stakeholder relationships is desirable.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in regalia preparation and event execution.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Previous experience in event planning or logistics is highly desirable.
- Be ready to pitch in with hands-on tasks as we handle a large volume of stock.
