Importantly we want to have fun!About the roleReporting to the Events Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the guest booking experience assisting with the planning, administration and delivery of Club functions and events.Key responsibilities include:
  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of a calendar of events in line with Club strategy.
  • Coordinate the guest booking experience including taking bookings, sending RSVPs, corporate tickets, invitations and managing ongoing guest communications.
  • Coordinate effective administration of allocated events including producing documentation, logistics/run schedules concepts and delivering event requirements.
  • Coordinate all MCG and Marvel Stadium corporate suites including catering, ticketing, floor plans and hosts.
  • Developing guest lists and associated marketing material for all events in collaboration with the events team and/or relevant departments
  • Assist in providing support with Salesforce to the Commercial team through product creation, bulk uploads and general assistance.
Please note this role does include attendance at match days across the AFL/W seasons.Our ideal candidateBacked by a tertiary qualification in events, hospitality, marketing or related field, you are a highly organised and motivated individual, with a can-do attitude. You have superior customer service skills and an ability to engage and work closely with different levels of stakeholders, always creating a positive experience.You are passionate about creating and delivering events that are on trend, using your creative flare to maximise engagement. With a strong attention to detail, you are computer and digitally savvy with experience using a CRM (ideally Salesforce).You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with different people and stakeholders.With strong time and project management skills, you have an ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment with an adaptable and flexible approach.Our offer to youAs a Hawthorn Football Club employee, you will work in a supportive, values driven and harmonious team.
