This national health organisation is seeking a temporary Graduate Recruitment & Event Coordinator to join their team and assist with arranging graduate events, travel and onboarding for over 350 graduate nurses for their mid year intake.
Your objective? To ensure the seamless organisation of 4 x large events for the mid-year graduate intake as well as assisting with onboarding administration and compliance.
Your Role
Reporting into the Graduate Nurse Program Manager your role will involve:
Event Management:
- Coordinating 3-4 immersive graduate orientation events between now and the end of the year for 350 nurses to travel interstate;
- Booking venues;
- Arranging catering;
- Managing the budget and invoicing;
- Arranging flights;
- Lining up speakers;
- Managing calendars;
- Booking accommodation.
Recruitment Administration:
- Assisting with onboarding and compliance processes for 350 graduate nurses;
- Completing reference checks, police checks and VEVO checks;
- AHPRA registrations;
- Immunisations;
- General recruitment and onboarding assistance.
Your Profile
You will bring strong administrative experience within events/travel management and recruitment and you must have an understanding of recruitment, compliance and onboarding processes. Graduate recruitment experience will be highly regarded.
As this role is to start ASAP you will be available immediately and proof of 3 x Covid vaccinations is required for this opportunity.
Based in Melbourne city fringe, there is paid parking nearby or it is easily accessed via public transport.
The role is Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, working in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays and WFH Monday, Wednesday, Fridays.
