ABOUT THE ROLE
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Relationship Liaison & Maintenance:
· Maintain relationships with key arts, culture and related associations.
· Maintain relationships with educational providers, local government and community organisations and other clients.
· Liaise with teacher clients, schools and cultural presenters via phone and email
Administration & Management:
· Manage program booking details in Zoho CRM System
· Process Bookings and Events from enquiry to fulfilment
· Process Contracts and feedback
· Maintain effective and timely communication
· Source, update and maintain contacts databases for cultural presenters Australia-wide
· Support the National Schools Team to develop marketing material, and promote the
school programs
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
● 2 years equivalent experience preferred
● Proficient administration skills
● Excellent customer service skills with the ability to easily build rapport as well as a natural ability to connect with diverse groups.
● Knowledge of and sensitivity in dealing with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and Australia’s rich diversity of ethnic communities
● Demonstrated experience in database management programs and/or booking programs
● Self-motivation and an ability to work autonomously with excellent time-management skills
● Organised with a high attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously
● Commitment to working in the arts industry, especially in multicultural/diverse arts, arts management or arts education
● Working knowledge of education and arts sectors preferred
● Strong and confident communication
● Interest in intercultural understanding, education, world cultures, music and art
ESSENTIAL TECHNICAL SKILLS
Applicants must have proven skills and experience working with the following programs/software:
● Microsoft Office Suite
● Type at least 50 Words Per Minute
DESIRABLE SKILLS/QUALITIES
● Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
● Event Management Experience
● Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Systems
AVAILABILITY
Full time ongoing, long-term position available to commence ASAP
Office Location: Wellington St, Collingwood VIC
In person office attendance required.
Occasional out of office hours required.
