Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the planning, execution & coordination of all the hotel’s events, internal functions and social events
Ensures that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.
Greets customer during the event phase and hands-off to the Event Operations team for the execution of details.
Create detailed Banquet Event Orders that are tailored to client requirements
Work closely with the sales team to maximise all potential business leads
Acts as liaison between field sales person and customer throughout the event process (pre-event, event, post-event).
Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary.
Ensures billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the clients prior to processing the final bill.
Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, engaging and inspiring guests with each customer experience
Be a dynamic and thoughtful leader by empowering and supporting your team
Ensure you uphold all company policies and procedures and complete all required managerial tasks in a prompt & thorough manner.
Liaise with stakeholders, clients and other associates as the main point of contact for events & functions
