About the company: Out Federal Government Client is seeking multiple skilled Events Officers. The Events Officer role is a pivotal role with our client. This exciting opportunity requires a skilled professional with a strong background in event management, capable of planning, executing, and evaluating a diverse range of events to ensure their success. About the role:
- You will be at the forefront of event planning and organisation
- Organising and attending industry summits, conferences, workshops, seminars, and forums.
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Supplier and Vendor Management
- Collaborating with external suppliers and vendors is crucial for event success.
- Engaging with event service providers, negotiates contracts, and manages relationships to secure necessary resources and services.
- Coordinate the use of external suppliers to hire, store, transport expo furniture and materials.
- Risk Management - assessing and mitigating risk associated with events is a key responsibility.
About you:
- You will ideally have experience working in the disability sector, or lived experiences with disabilities
- You will have relevant experience in event coordination, preferably in a large organisation setting
- You will have a strong digital experience in managing virtual as well as hybrid event
- You will have excellent stakeholder engagement and communications skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
- You will have strong organisation and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Desirable skills:
- Experience working with EventsAir
- Experience working with MS Teams in a digital event environment.
- Experience in risk assessment
- Team leader or management experience
Benefits:

- Locations considered - Sydney, Parramatta, Melbourne, Geelong, Brisbane and Gold Coast
- APS5 - $55.24 per hour + super
- APS6 - $60.26 per hour + super
