AddressThe Clovercrest Hotel Motel has been an icon of the North Eastern suburbs, over recent years the venue has undergone a complete transformation, winner of the AHA Best Redevelopment in 2023 it has certainly gone to another level.
A rare opportunity has come up to manager all events and the ever popular lounge bar & kitchen area. The role involves:
- innovative ideas for community events;
- marketing the venue on social media;
- manage all event enquiries and secure bookings;
- follow up on all future event enquiries;
- work closely with the Head Chef on food offerings;
- manage the kitchen pass during peak meal service times;
- manage all hotel bookings & confirm large bookings;
- collaboratively work with suppliers on food and liquor matching dinners;
- supervise the F&B staff and service levels.
- train and develop F&B staff to restaurant service levels.
- handle customer enquires and feedback in a professional, timely manner;
- hands on role during service times & event days;
- Event set ups and management;
- Microsoft Office Software competencies;
- knowledge of cloud based booking systems eg Now Book It. RMS;
- ability to operate and train staff on table order systems;
- manage stock wastages and inventory levels and correct anomalies;
- create booking links for future events;
- openly communicate with written & verbal etiquette at all times;
Our ideal candidate will be motivated and professional, giving our valued customers positive experiences that will encourage both word of mouth and repeat visits. An eye for detail and an ability to bring our staff along the journey by setting the standard as a hospitality professional at all times. Previous event and restaurant management is a must.
The role is a full time salary package working Tuesdays - Saturdays mostly with the exception of special events that occur on a Sunday.
Weekly office hours will be provided to plan and follow up on enquiries and secure bookings.
Remuneration will be commensurate with previous experience.
