The Role:

Reporting to the General Manager, Fishbank Bar and Grill is seeking a passionate Restaurant Manager to lead, motivate, and inspire our team of dedicated hospitality professionals. With a commitment to providing memorable dining experiences, you will collaborate with management to elevate our business operations and execute memorable events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with management to lead, motivate and inspire the team to fulfil their potential through the cultivation of an inclusive workplace culture;
- Drive and execute events and functions, creating unique experiences for all guests including but not limited to weddings, birthdays, wine showcases etc;
- Train food and beverage teams, including sequence of service, product education and rostering as required;
- Build quality relationships with patrons, stakeholders, and surrounding businesses to drive customer loyalty, and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and revenue growth; and
- Collaborate with the Sommelier and Head Chef to develop a seasonal beverage and wine lists to compliment the restaurant and bar offering.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing a premium dining restaurant;
- Dedicated leader who inspires their team to deliver world-class experiences;
- Solid understanding and passionate about the food and liquor industry;
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders (suppliers, customers, employees, managers);
- Attention to detail with an eye for presentation and quality;
- Holds a current RSA, and RP badge (essential); and
- Availability to work over 7-day roster, including late nights and weekends.
