Excavator Operator

Partnering with Sydney Water, Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) supports the delivery, design, construction, maintenance, and facilities management services as part of the P4S Program in Sydney Water's Southern Region of Sydney. D4C is an integrated team, comprising of  John Holland, Service Stream Maintenance and WSP.

Permanent, full-time opportunities are available for skilled / licenced operators, newly constructed pump stations, refurbished pump stations and large-scale treatment projects. Individual projects range from 6-12 months with ongoing permanent work for 7+ years, as well as operating you will work on the tools, and undertake manual labouring tasks. Experience working on live sites is essential and attention to detail is critical.  

  To be considered for this opportunity you must have the following;  

• Experience within civil utilities space 
• Trenching experience 
• Shoring Experience
• Backfilling
• Excavator tickets  (SOA/VOC)
• Front End loader  
• Truck Licence (MR / HR or HC Desirable)  
• White card  
• Experience in similar role in most of the activities listed above and be able to provide references  
• Be physically fit to complete all tasks required

Operating Monday to Friday - 7am start - 40 hours per week, with overtime a plenty, you will also support capital work projects working adhoc rostered night shifts. 

Favourable permanent hourly rates based on experience, including overtime and benefits. Solid induction and training provided, together with development for future growth and opportunities.  Full PPE also included.
