Executive Assistant position available supporting the CEO of a national property and construction company
Your new company
A new role has become available for an experienced Executive Assistant to support a very successful CEO. This is an exciting and ever-changing role for someone who enjoys a varied workload. Our client manages projects heavily across construction and property throughout Australia.
Your new role
Working in this role, you must understand that each day varies. The CEO trusts that the successful candidate will manage all affairs confidently in their absence. You will also be working closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to provide administrative support on a 1:1 basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide executive support to the CEO for both business and personal matters
- Extensive diary management
- Coordinate all travel arrangements for the CEO and senior management team
- Dictation & Meeting Minutes (skills with short hand are advantageous)
- Liaising with solicitors on behalf of the CEO in regard to current work in progress
- Progress Contracts / Put & Call Agreements
- Following up with the in-house Sales Department in regard to current REIQ / HIA contracts
- Assisting with Presentations
- Creating Reports with Excel
- Working with solicitors / financiers on obtaining unconditional letters / settlements
- Creating relevant reports for the CEO in regard to land sales / awaiting finance / settlements
What you'll need to succeed
You must have extensive industry experience in a similar role to be considered for this opportunity. You will have a track record of working with executive level staff and supporting a Director, General Manager or CEO with their everyday duties. To do this job well, you will be adaptable, resilient and extremely organised, as often things may be thrown at you at the last minute. You will be flexible with your working hours as some days may start and finish later.
