Find Your World.™LocationIdeally situated on the pristine beaches of the Gold Coast, the oceanfront Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Gold Coast offers 295 guest rooms and suites, 26 luxurious 2 & 3 bedroom villas, award winning restaurants and bars, a swim-up pool bar and over 14 flexible spaces for meetings and events.RoleThe Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support the daily operational requirements for the Resort.Key responsibilities include:
- Provide the highest level of administrative support to the resort General Manager to ensure the smooth and effective running of his/her office;
- Maintain confidentiality and privacy - integral to this position - at all times;
- Be flexible with working times and hours when required;
- Manage General Manager's diary alongside own diary;
- Maintain General Manager and Executive Assistant Trace system;
- Monitor and ensure all deadlines relating to the General Manager's office are met, including follow up with Executive Committee Members and Department Heads when required;
- Liaise and build positive relationships with associates, guests, resort owners and managers, villa owners, and other resort General Manager and Executive Office key contacts;
- Respond to all TripAdvisor Reviews under General Manager's name, and selected Marriott Verified Reviews (MVR) including all Alerts, under the relevant Manager's name (with their input), and close Alert Responses within the 48 hour deadline;
- In conjunction with the Reservations Manager, co-ordinate accommodation upgrades, and recognition, including amenities, for General Manager Office VIP guests and other guests when requested/as required;
- Manage the resort Tender Process - distribute Tender Invitations, acknowledge receipt of Tenders, set up Tender Opening Meetings, respond to unsuccessful Tenderers, and manage and self-audit Tender Master files;
- Previous administrative experience in a similar role within a 5-star Resort environment
- Strong time management & organisational skills
- Strong research and analytical abilities
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, whilst working to tight deadlines
- Experience in inspiring a positive working culture and leading a large team
- Comprehensive business acumen with a strategic and innovative mindset
- Proven experience in developing strong relationships with key stakeholders including hotel owners
