About the Role
Located at our Head Office in Elermore Vale, the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), is responsible for providing attentive, accurate and professional support to the CEO, always ensuring smooth running of the CEO office. The Executive Assistant is the principal contact point for CEO’s office for both internal and external stakeholders, including Ministerial and Parliamentary offices, senior government offices, member and partner organisations and members of the public.
This full-time role requires a mature attitude and strategic understanding of the organisational goals, as well as an instinctive understanding of what the CEO will need and when, and how to add value to their busy role.
Successful applicants should be able to confidently:
• Provide high level administrative support and coordination to the CEO in managing confidential and sensitive documentation with appropriate discretion.
• Support day-to-day diary management and coordination, including but not limited to internal and external meetings, accommodation, and travel arrangements and itineraries.
• Actively promote the philosophy of Atwea College and Alesco Secondary College.
• Represent the CEO and other SLT members professional, balanced and positive disposition by actively demonstrating the organisation’s Values, Tone and Pace to both internal and external stakeholders.
About You
• You already live by the values of Inclusion, Integrity and Innovation.
• Have minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience supporting C-Suite Executives.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain complete confidentiality in the workplace and exercise judgement and discretion.
• Proven time management skills.
• High level written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of Education and Training Environment desirable but not essential.
• Experience in a for purpose environment a plus.
Atwea College requires:
• Valid NSW Working With Children Check and current National Criminal Police Record Check prior to the commencement of employment.
• Child Protection Training and other ongoing legislative training as required, once employed.
• Drivers Licence.
