Executive Assistant
Hunter Integrated Pain Service

This is a targeted position in accordance with Policy Directive ( ) NSW Health Good Health - Great Jobs: Aboriginal Workforce Strategic Framework 2016 - 2020. Where you'll be working:
The position will be based within the Hunter Integrated Pain Service, located at the Lodge Building on the John Hunter Campus, working alongside the clinicians and other administration staff to provide services to our clients.
The Hunter Integrated Pain service is a multi-disciplinary service that works collectively to support patients who experience chronic pain through outpatient appointments.
We provide advice and education to General Practitioners in the community on how to support patients who are living with chronic pain.
About the role:
The provision of high-level and comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Director of the Hunter Integrated Pain Service (HIPS) (and other senior clinicians as directed).

  • Tasks will include diary and email management, minuting, collating, and circulating documentation for meetings
  • The role encompasses the need for excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, analytical thinking, and the ability to problem-solve
  • You will work closely with HIPS Team Leader to achieve service delivery outcomes including; running reports, WHS, staff leave management, and rostering
  • You will support the secretarial staff with the clinical workload, including the management of groups and outpatient appointments
