About the Role
The UTS Business School is currently recruiting for a motivated and organised individual to join the team in the role of Executive Assistant (EA)/Administration Officer (AO). The EA/AO is responsible for providing high level administrative and executive support to the Associate Dean (International) and the International Development Portfolio. With flexibility in mind, we will be offering the incumbent the opportunity to work remotely for 1-2 days per week on occasion.
As the Executive Assistant/Administration Officer, you will:
• Manage the diary of the Associate Dean (International) and organising travel arrangements as required
• Oversee the office's record management system and ensure compliance with University record management requirements
• Prepare, coordinate and process recognition of prior learning applications and documentation
• Provide administrative support to committees and working groups of the Associate Dean (International) and the International Development portfolio
• Produce correspondence, memos, letters, forms, contracts and other types of documents with attention to details
• Support the preparation of marketing materials and events
As the ideal candidate, you will possess:
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and students of the Faculty, across UTS and with the general public
• The ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative and demonstrate confidentiality and discretion in all dealings
• Cultural sensitivity to operate effectively within a variety of international contexts
• Stakeholder and client relationship management in the University sector, preferably working with international stakeholders
• Executive assistant and administrative officer experience to an executive preferably within the higher education sector
Remuneration
Base Salary Range: $80,044 to $91,570 pa (HEW 5)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.
