Form of workPublic Sector People are working with a Council on the fringe of northern country Victoria to recruit an Executive Assistant for a temporary position.
Reporting to the Office of CEO and Mayor, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing high level administrative and executive support.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Coordinate civic events and provide support to the CEO and Councilors in their participation in community events.
- Manage all enquiries escalated to the Office of the CEO
- Undertake research and analysis as required to provide advice and support to the Mayor and the Chief Executive Officer
- Extensive experience in supporting senior executive and/ or Government Officials.
- High level of political acumen and a demonstrated ability to display discretion and establish processes to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in coordinating Government/ Civic events is not essential but will be highly regarded.
