About the role:
- Oversee all aspects of the daily kitchenoperations for the precinctand lead your own team;
- Take ownership of the menu development across the venue;
- Work with the best talent in Sydney;

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations and standards of the precincts culinary program;
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the guest experience and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction;
- Conduct inventory management, synergise stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of products acrros the precinct;
- Take the lead to hire, train and develop your won team whilst fostering a creative and positive work environment;
- Oversee staff rostering time and attendance, schedules, ensuring smooth and efficient service at all times whilst maintain reduced labour costs;
- Supervise and support staff during service, providing guidance and leadership resolving any issues or conflicts that may arise;
- Develop and implement menu standards, introduce new seasonal dishes, and ensure timely delivery of food to guests;
- Uphold health and safety regulations and ensure staff compliance with hygiene standards and food handling practices;
- Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues and exceed guest expectations;
- Take control of financial management by monitoring costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings, and assisting in budgeting processes;
- Stay updated with industry trends, new culinary concepts, and competitors' offerings to ensure the restaurant remains competitive and innovative
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a leadership role in a premium dining establishment is mandatory;
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with staff, guests, and suppliers;
- Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost control, and inventory management;
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and ability to enforce compliance;
- Passion for the culinary arts, with knowledge of different cuisines and an interest in staying updated with industry trends;
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
