Reporting to the CEO, Homes Victoria, the Executive Director, Communications and Engagement will be responsible for providing high-level strategic leadership in planning, developing, implementing, and managing all internal and external communications activities across Homes Victoria, ensuring relevance and validity to the complex and diverse nature of service delivery objectives across the organisation.
The role will also manage stakeholder engagement and provide authoritative, strategic, and innovative service and advice to the Chief Executive Officer on Homes Victoria and housing sector-specific Communications and media issues.
The Executive Director, Communications and Engagement will play a key role in championing the work of Homes Victoria as it delivers on the Victorian Government's landmark social and affordable housing investment, the largest single investment in social housing in Victoria's history.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Provide strategic leadership in planning, development, implementing, and management of all internal and external communications activities ensuring relevance and validity to the complex and diverse nature of service delivery objectives across Homes Victoria.
- Provide authoritative, strategic and innovative communication-related services and support to the CEO, Deputy CEO, Minister, and Executive Leadership Team to assist them in meeting the government's policy agenda, and programs and services commitments.
- Represent Homes Victoria's interests in high-level discussions and negotiations on Communications and media matters with DFFH, other departments, community housing service providers, stakeholders external to Homes Victoria to ensure an understanding of community and government expectations in developing plans and strategies.
