To learn more, visit .Position Summary:As the Executive Director, Regional Planning-Supply Chain, reporting directly to the VP of Supply Chain for the region, you will play a critical role in partnering with IBP Process Leader, Finance, Sales, Portfolio, and Supply Chain teams to lead the supply step of the IBP process and drive short- and long-term business results. The purpose is to facilitate the Supply Review and preparation process to address the needs of the Supply Review Chair.Job Description1. Supply Step Leadership: Take ownership of the supply step of the IBP process, ensuring effective collaboration and decision making with various stakeholders. Provide financialized responses to key IBP questions monthly for each product line.

  • Are there relevant changes in our internal / external supply that impact us?
  • Can we fulfill all portfolio changes and the unconstrained market demand?
  • If the demand plan cannot be met, have we developed alternatives?
  • Is our network and value chain delivering our ambition?
  • Do we project a risk to our cost, service and inventory objectives? What do we need to do about it?
  • Are our strategic supply priorities on track?
  • Can we support identified portfolio/demand opportunities that are not included in the best estimate?
  • Which decisions do we need to make in this cycle in the supply review or through escalation?
2. Performance Measurement: Define and monitor globally aligned key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of your team. Leading indicators such as production to plan and scheduling adherence, as well as lagging indicators such as service levels, inventory levels, and costs, will be used to evaluate performance.3. Collaboration and Global Alignment: Collaborate with other regions to build necessary people skills, establish global processes, and align data structures.
  • Work with cross-regional teams to define and optimize a global capacity process and data structure, including required IT capabilities.
  • Drive the development of a global process that optimizes the trade-off between inventory, service, and costs, informing the definition of Days of Inventory on Hand (DoH) targets.
  • Lead ongoing network optimization efforts, prioritizing global optimization followed by regional optimization.
  • Ensure that the Innovations are effectively integrated into the demand plan and successfully manufactured and brought to market
4. Customer Collaboration: Foster close collaboration with both the sales team and customers to gain insights into their consumption patterns and effectively contribute to demand plan accuracy and bias reduction. This collaboration will help anticipate capacity utilization and guide inventory management decisions.5. Business Continuity Planning: Ensure the effectiveness of the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) process in the region, aligned with global governance. Identify and close business continuity gaps to minimize disruptions. Drive proactive action and decision through IBP prioritization.6. Material Master Data Management: Oversee material master data management for the region, in alignment with global governance. Ensure accurate and reliable data to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.QualificationsStrongly Preferred:
  • Experience successfully leading Supply Integrated Business planning for a global, multi-billion, multi-unit business.
  • Deep Functional expertise in End-to-End Supply Chain Planning with particular attention to Production Planning, Material Planning and Production Scheduling (areas requiring step change)
  • Lean Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
  • Ability to work collaboratively and partner with employees, leaders, customers and suppliers
  • Influencing and diplomacy skills with an ability to lead and drive change in a collaborative, positive way.
  • Strong communication skills, including communication with employees, customers, upper management and vendors
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Manufacturing systems orientation and understanding
  • Broad business knowledge and experience
  • Strong financial orientation, interpretation and analysis skills required
  • Functional knowledge of Supply Chain systems & technology and ERP (SAP)
  • Demonstrated leadership in achieving shared objectives in a matrix organization, managing cross-divisional initiatives, and cross-functional teams
  • Highly organized, outcome oriented with excellent planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, presence, and executive communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Must be a self-starter and results driven. Must be able to lead through ambiguity and act with urgency.
