We seek an innovative and forward-looking candidate to offer strategic leadership and achieve impactful business planning outcomes within our Regional Services directorate. This involves delivering solutions that align with our strategic plans and broader government objectives.
As an executive leader you will lead a team of passionate, dedicated, community minded people and work with representatives of government agencies, industry and community groups on matters related to services provided by the Department in regional WA.
You will shape and implement policy and programs that deliver effective outcomes across the Department and regional WA such as, the award winning Driving Access and Equity Program and the Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing (PRIS) legislation reforms.
This Senior Executive Service (SES) opportunity is available for three (3) years with possible extension up to a further two (2) years.
About the Department
The Department of Transport (DoT) together with Main Roads WA and the Public Transport Authority forms the Transport portfolio which seeks integrated, intelligent and sustainable transport solutions that are safe, accessible and efficient for the economic and social prosperity of Western Australia.
The Department delivers a wide range of services across the state for the community with responsibilities including marine safety, building and managing coastal facilities, driver and vehicle services, on-demand transport regulation, urban mobility, walking and riding infrastructure and behavioural programmes, freight, regional aviation and transport reform.
We foster collaboration, promote well-being, embrace adaptability, and support accountability to deliver exceptional services.
