This is a five year contract with the possibility of a further contract and/or extension. Suitable applicants may be considered for other similar vacancies within the next 12 months.

THE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The Corruption and Crime Commission (the Commission) is a leading anti-corruption agency whose primary purpose is to improve the integrity of and reduce the incidence of serious misconduct and corruption in the Western Australian Public Sector.
The Executive Directorate ensures the delivery of high-quality support to the Commission. This includes the effective and efficient delivery of strategic advice, management of Ministerial and Parliamentary engagement, coordination of Commission examinations, administration and delivery of the Commission’s governance, risk and audit functions and the development of communication strategies for internal and external audiences.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Director, Executive is responsible for providing leadership, direction and strategic planning for the Commission. The position leads a multi-disciplinary team and ensures the effective delivery of key Commission functions, including ministerial and parliamentary liaison, governance reform, risk and audit and communication.
As a leading member of the Corporate Executive, the Director will contribute strategic value to agency goals ensuring the framework appropriately supports the achievement of the Commission's objectives. The Director, Executive in consultation with the Chief Executive, will also determine the timing of future growth in business areas, and demonstrate planned and considered positioning.
The Commission requires applicants to be Australian citizens or be immediately eligible for citizenship, and appointment is conditional on satisfactory completion of a rigorous security clearance process.
