Executive Officer to Government Chief Information & Digital Officer (Digital NSW)

Grade: Clerk Grade 11/12 with base salary starting from $ 139,787 plus superannuation
Location: Sydney CBD, McKell
About the role:
The Executive Officer is responsible for providing a range of high-level support to the Government Chief Information & Digital Officer (GCIDO) and Deputy Secretary for Digital NSW.
The Executive Officer will provide strategic advice, centrally manage divisional communications, and implement strategies to achieve Digital NSW’s vision of delivering a leading customer-centric, digitally-enabled government.
In this varied and exciting role, you will work on a range of deliverables to ensure the seamless operation of the Office of the GCIDO. No two days will be the same, and you will be the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders requiring time and communications from the Deputy Secretary. You are proactive by nature and take great pride in delivering on time and to expectations, while living our values at all times.
Responsibilities will include:
Be the first point of contact for GCIDO and ensure optimal use of their time, determining which of the competing priorities need their attention first.
Oversee secretariat support for Executive teams, advisory panels, steering committees and similar governance bodies.
Significantly contribute to project outcomes in a fast paced, agile environment
Manage all correspondence, liaise with stakeholders and act as the Executive Leadership Team point of contact.
Work with business analysts and support services (eg Finance, People and Culture) to prepare reports and analysis to support decision making.
Coordinate and take accountability for the preparation of meeting materials for presentation to both internal and external stakeholders.
Work closely with Digital NSW business partners across the Department to ensure risk mitigation and the best outcomes for the Division.
Lead and prepare internal communications for the Division.
Represent the Executive at various meetings and forums.
