- Based at our Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus in picturesque tropical North Queensland
- $102,460 - $117,657 per annum with up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits
Working closely with the Deputy Vice Chancellor (DVC), Academy you will provide high-level executive, business, and engagement support in alignment with the University’s strategic plans and business objectives. You will be the driving force behind high-level communications and information management for the Academy, as you prepare planning documents, proposals, submissions, papers, and speeches, using your keen eye for detail to ensure timeliness, appropriate tone, and style. As an experienced business professional, you will inform decision-making and policy formation by researching critical matters and providing expert advice to the DVC Academy and senior leadership team. You will maintain a strategic stakeholder network that fosters productive engagement across University, community, industry, and government bodies. From executive-level business activities to high-profile events and projects, you will be the master coordinator behind the scenes. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our University and the communities we serve.

- As a passionate and skilled business professional you will hold a relevant degree qualification with extensive experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in executive level stakeholder engagement and proven ability to develop high-quality written documentation for government and large-scale organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing business development strategies to meet operational and strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain working relationships, including demonstrated ability to consult and liaise with varying levels of stakeholders to achieve outcomes for the organisation.
- Exceptional organisational, problem solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgement and initiative to develop sound solutions to complex issues.
