The Role
An opportunity has become available for an Executive Support Officer (Surgical and Critical Care) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Provide professional, quality and proficient general Executive Support to assist the Executive in fulfilling their duties
* Manage sensitive information and knowledge in line with departmental and government policy
* Support the efficient operation of executive daily activities through diary management
* Perform Secretariat duties or administrative support for meetings / committees as needed
* Ability to quickly establish rapport and a collaborative relationship with the divisional executive team and other stakeholders
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* While not mandatory a relevant qualification is well regarded
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
* Permanent full time
* Base salary ranging from $88 187 - $97 157 per annum

The Surgical and Critical Care Division oversees the following Clinical Business Units: Theatre Management; Head, Neck, Oral and Neurosurgical; Intensive Care Unit, Anaesthetics and Acute Pain Services; Orthopaedics and Trauma; General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Urology and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
