Enertech Electrical is a growing Queensland company based in Stafford. We are a market leader in our field of specialised commercial work within the Data Centre and commercial environments. Our client list includes some of Queensland’s premium commercial companies and Government Departments. We have been working in Data Centres for over 22 years and are well respected within the Industry.
We are now looking for a Bookkeeeping superstar to take full responsibility of the finance function, working alongside and reporting directly to the business owner.
About the Work:
- Full scale Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable
- Payroll including superannuation
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Cashflow forecasting and management
- End of month processes
- BAS and IAS preparation
- Annual budgeting
- Monthly reporting against budget and review with owner and external accountant
- Financial input into job quoting process
- Scheduling of staff in job management system
- Claiming of government incentive payments for apprentices
- Liaising with and assisting the external accountants
- Adhoc administrative duties as needed
About You:
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Advanced skills in Xero and Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar self-directed, full scale Accounts role
- Excellent attention to detail, a high level of accuracy
- A strong focus on cost control
- Enthusiasm and motivation
- The ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload. You will be the sole Accounts person in the business, and the owner will rely heavily on your financial input to make business decisions
- Confidence in learning new software systems, and training others as necessary
- The ability to independently problem-solve
- Previous payroll experience
- A good sense of humour
The following is desirable but not necessary:
- Experience with Tradify job management system
What is on offer:
- casual position, 1-2 days per week (7-13 hours) depending on the workload
- work from our relaxed office in Stafford with onsite parking
- a close-knit team who are dedicated to producing quality work whilst also having fun
- hourly rate of $35-$50/hour + superannuation (negotiable depending on experience)
- flexibility with hours (school hours possible)
